Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 July 2026
These terms apply to bodewellappliance.com and to the appliance repair service provided by Bodewell Appliance Repair (“we”, “us”). By using this website or booking a service visit, you accept them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or request a visit.
Using this website
The site is here to describe our services and to let you request an appointment. You agree not to use it to interfere with its operation, to gain access to systems you are not entitled to, or for anything unlawful.
We work to keep the information here accurate and current, but the site is provided as it stands. Descriptions of appliances, faults and repair work are general guidance, not a diagnosis of your particular unit.
Booking an appointment
Submitting the online form is a request for service, not a confirmed booking. An appointment exists once we have confirmed it with you directly.
Please give accurate details of the address, the appliance and the fault. Where the appliance or the access turns out to be materially different from what was described, the visit may need to be rescheduled.
Diagnostics and estimates
Every job starts with a diagnostic: the appliance is tested as a complete system and the readings are compared against the manufacturer’s service tolerances.
You are told the cause, the proposed repair and the price before any work is carried out or any part is ordered. Nothing chargeable proceeds without your approval, and no charge appears on the invoice that was not agreed in advance.
Parts and workmanship
We fit components matched to your exact model, using manufacturer parts wherever they are the right answer for the repair. Parts carry the warranty offered by their manufacturer; our labour is warranted on the terms stated on your invoice.
A warranty covers the repair we carried out. It does not extend to unrelated faults, to normal wear, to damage caused by misuse or by work carried out by others, or to appliances that have been modified.
Access to the appliance
The technician needs safe, clear access to the appliance and to its power, water and ventilation connections. In buildings with loading-dock rules, service elevators or fixed access windows, please tell us the requirements when you book so the visit can be scheduled inside them.
Where built-in equipment has to be drawn out of cabinetry, we take reasonable care, but we cannot accept responsibility for pre-existing installation faults or for joinery that was not built to allow servicing.
Payment
Payment is due once the agreed work is complete, by the methods stated on the invoice. Where a part has to be ordered specially for your model, we may ask for payment for that part in advance.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Let us know as early as you can if an appointment no longer suits — we will move it to another window at no cost. Cancellations, returns and refunds are set out in our refund policy, which applies alongside these terms.
Brand names
Appliance brand names appear on this site to describe the equipment we service. Those names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Unless a page says otherwise, we are an independent repair company and not an authorised agent of the manufacturers named.
Our content
The text, images and design of this website belong to Bodewell Appliance Repair. Please do not copy or republish them without our written permission.
Liability
Our responsibility is limited to the repair work we carry out and, except where the law says otherwise, to the amount you paid for that work. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date it was last revised shown at the top.
