Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
This policy explains what Bodewell Appliance Repair (“we”, “us”) does with the information you share when you contact us, request a visit or browse this website. It applies to bodewellappliance.com and to the in-home appliance repair service we provide across California and South Florida.
Information we collect
We only ask for what is needed to schedule and complete a repair:
- your name, phone number and email address
- the service address where the appliance is installed
- appliance details — brand, type, model number and the fault you describe
- appointment preferences and any access instructions you give us
- records of the work carried out and of our correspondence with you
We do not ask for, and do not want, information that is not relevant to the repair.
The online booking form
The appointment form on this site is provided by a third-party scheduling service and is embedded from webform.proleadservice.com. Anything you type into that form is submitted to the form provider and passed on to us. Their own privacy terms apply to the data while it is handled on their systems.
If you would rather not use the form, call us instead and we will take the details over the phone.
How we use your information
- to confirm and schedule your appointment
- to prepare the right parts and service data before the visit
- to reach you about the diagnosis, the estimate and the outcome of the repair
- to keep a service history for the appliance
- to meet our accounting, tax and other legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
Who we share it with
Your details are shared only where the repair requires it:
- the technician assigned to your appointment
- the scheduling provider that hosts our booking form
- parts suppliers and manufacturers, when a component has to be ordered for your model
- payment processors, where you pay by card
- authorities, where the law requires disclosure
Cookies and site analytics
This website keeps cookie use to a minimum: they support basic site function and help us understand how pages are used. Content embedded from other services, such as the booking form, may set its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then behave differently.
How long we keep it
Service records are kept for as long as they remain useful for warranty, parts and follow-up questions, and for as long as tax and accounting rules require. After that they are deleted or anonymised.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete records we are not legally required to keep. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Get in touch and we will confirm what we hold and act on your request.
Security
Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to carry out or invoice a repair. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new “last updated” date. Please check back occasionally.
